Whether you are looking to get soaked or enjoy a peaceful boat ride, these Disney water rides are for you! With different water attractions at all of the Walt Disney World Parks guests will be able to cool off and have fun with their family.
Walt Disney World is home to the most popular attractions in the world and some of those attractions are water rides. Water rides at theme parks are not for everyone. They tend to invoke panic in some and joy in the other.
Thankfully the Disney Parks offer a wide range of water attractions that go from soaked to a light mist that is great for all ages visiting Disney World. Today I am sharing all of the water attractions at Disney World to help you plan your day at the parks.
Disney Water Rides
There are 4 main theme parks at Disney World as well as 2 water parks. Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are the Disney water parks and I did not include them in the list.

Water Rides in Magic Kingdom
There are three attractions you will get wet on at the Magic Kingdom. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Casey Jr. Splash “N’ Soak Zone.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a log flume ride that ends with a 40 ft big drop. It is a really fun attraction but be prepared to get wet. If you want to stay dry consider wearing a poncho for your ride.
Pirates of the Caribbean is not a water ride but I have gotten a bit wet on my bottom after riding so I wanted to include it. It is an indoor boat ride with small drops. Occasionally you will get a bit wet but not soaked on this ride.

Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Zone is a splash area for kids. When my kids were small they would run around playing in the water spouts. This got them soaked. If you plan to visit be sure to pack a change of clothes.
The other water rides at Magic Kingdom are “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Aladdin’s Magic Carpets.
They are all boat rides that guests will not get wet on. The exception is Pirates of the Caribbean that has a small drop at the start of the ride. You will not get soaked on this ride and are usually dry by the end of the attraction.
Aladdin’s Magic Carpet is not a water ride but the camels surrounding the attraction do squirt water at you throughout the ride, so be on the lookout for that.

Water Rides at Epcot
Epcot has 3 boat ride attractions that guests can enjoy. Frozen Ever After, Living with the Land and The Gran Fiesta tour are boat ride experiences for all ages.
Frozen Ever After has small drops that may get you a little wet, but none of these attractions would be considered water rides that get you soaked.
The Gran Fiesta tour is located in the Mexico Pavilion. Living with the Land is in the World Nature area of the park. They are both slow boat rides that are a great way for all ages to ride together.
The newest water attraction at Epcot is Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. This is a self-guided exploration trail with interactive water elements. There are wet and dry paths at this attraction.
Visitors can get soaked, small children especially will enjoy exploring all the water features and may end up wet. You can walk through this without getting wet and it is an enjoyable addition to the park.

Water Rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios does not have any water attractions at the park. At the For the First Time in Forever: Frozen Sing-A-Long show it snows inside and that can cool you off if you are looking to escape the heat, but there are no traditional water attractions at the park.
Water Rides at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom’s water attraction has the potential to get you the most soaked out of all of the Disney World water rides with the Kali River Rapids attraction.
Kali River Rapids is a river rapids raft ride. Guests board a 12-passenger circular raft and travel along the rapids with a few drops and places to get wet. How soaked you will get is random so be prepared for drenched to splashed!
I suggest wearing quick drying clothes if you plan to ride. We enjoyed this ride and it is always so much fun.
Na’vi River Adventure is a boat ride journey located in the Pandora: The World of Avatar area. Guests will not get wet on this low thrill boat attraction. It has very pretty scenery and an impressive animatronic but no thrills or chances of getting wet.

Final Thoughts
I love the water rides especially during a summer Disney trip. It is a great way to cool off and water rides are always a fun time.
Most of the Disney water rides are great for the entire family making them a good choice to include in your day at any of the Disney parks.
